WLTP range is measured in a lab; on the motorway and in winter expect noticeably less. "Usable" is the battery you can actually use; "gross" includes a buffer the car keeps back.

Where these figures come from

MY26 UK Seal has two versions: Design (RWD) and Excellence AWD, both with an 82.5 kWh Blade (LFP) battery at 550.4 V nominal. The leaflet conflicts with itself: its cover page says 'DC charging time SOC 10%-80%: 26 min', while its Technical Data table gives 10-80% 37 min and 30-80% 26 min. The table value (37 min) is used, and the cover is probably mislabelled. BYD does not say whether the battery figure is usable or gross. Power figures are PS as BYD states them. The photo shows a European-market Seal of the current generation (2025); the MY26 visual changes are minor.
