WLTP range is measured in a lab; on the motorway and in winter expect noticeably less. "Usable" is the battery you can actually use; "gross" includes a buffer the car keeps back. The tools use the WLTP efficiency when you pick this car; put in your own figure from the trip computer for a closer answer.

Where these figures come from

Facelifted Born (MY27). The price-list link redirects to a 13 MB PDF (cupra-cf-prd-5102026-cupra-born-pa-my27.pdf), which I read as text. Variants are grouped by battery and motor; trims are V1 and V2 (58 or 79 kWh, 190 or 231 PS) and VZ (79 kWh, 326 PS). Note the price list puts the V1 79 kWh (£36,995) only £1,000 above the V1 58 kWh. Range: the price table says 'up to' 300/389/389 (data correct 14/09/2026); the tech table (data 05/2026) gives 297-300, 385-389 and 389-392 miles. 389 is used for VZ. The UK price list doesn't state the drive layout.
