Peak DC kW for the UK 140 kW car is not published on MG UK pages; MG Europe lists 154 kW for its 64 kWh Premium, but that car has a 170 kW motor, so it is not used here. AC 7 kW is from the MG Europe table, which lists 7 kW for all three versions.7 kWRWD7.5 s£30,495From price on the MG UK configurator, Oct 2026. The Feb 2026 launch release said £29,995. MG UK pages do not give these.7 kWAWD3.8 s£34,495From price on the MG UK configurator, Oct 2026. The Feb 2026 launch release said £33,995. Power: MG UK states 435 PS (metric hp) and 320 kW.

WLTP range is measured in a lab; on the motorway and in winter expect noticeably less. "Usable" is the battery you can actually use; "gross" includes a buffer the car keeps back.

Where these figures come from

Current UK car is the MY26 MG4 EV (MSP platform, RWD/AWD). It is a separate model from the MG4 EV Urban (FWD, E3 platform). The UK press release (Feb 2026) quotes prices £500 lower than the live configurator; the configurator prices are used. The UK 64 kWh Premium Long Range has a 140 kW motor, but the European 64 kWh Premium has 170 kW. MG does not say whether its battery figures are usable or gross. Power: MG quotes kW for the Long Range (140 kW) and Extended Range (180 kW), and only the XPOWER gets a PS figure (435 PS). The photo shows the pre-MY26 MG4 EV, which is the same generation and body; the MY26 update changed only the wheels, spoiler and cabin.
