WLTP range is measured in a lab; on the motorway and in winter expect noticeably less. "Usable" is the battery you can actually use; "gross" includes a buffer the car keeps back. The tools use the WLTP efficiency when you pick this car; put in your own figure from the trip computer for a closer answer.

Where these figures come from

The ID.3 Neo replaced the ID.3 in the UK (orders from 13 Aug 2026). The old ID.3 (Pure/Pro/Pro S/GTX) is 'available from stock only' on volkswagen.co.uk and is left out here. The ID.3 GTI had its world premiere in Sept 2026 but isn't on sale in the UK yet, so it's not included. Battery figures are net (usable) per VW's world-premiere release; the UK release writes '50 kW, 58 kW, 79 kW', which is a typo for kWh. Range: the UK model page FAQ says 'up to 391 miles', while the UK press release table says 390 for the 79 kWh car; 390 is used. Conflict on 50 kWh DC peak: 100 kW (UK release) vs 105 kW (global release and newsroom). AC 11 kW and RWD come from the VW global newsroom ('uses rear-wheel drive exclusively'), not a UK page.
