Cadillac has trimmed the entry price of its 2027 Optiq electric SUV in the United States. Its website now advertises the Luxury version from $49,995, while Electrek reports a destination-inclusive starting price of $51,790—$905 below the figure previously announced.

The distinction between those figures matters when comparing offers: the lower advertised number and the destination-inclusive price are different bases, before any further taxes, options or dealer charges. Electrek also reports a $900 reduction for the rear-wheel-drive Sport, now $52,395 including destination.

The standard rear-wheel-drive Optiq carries an EPA-estimated range of 317 miles. Cadillac lists 303 miles for the available all-wheel-drive version. A native NACS charging port, a 33-inch display and an 11.5 kW AC onboard charging module are among the Luxury model’s standard features.

The reduction is concentrated at the lower end of the range. According to Electrek, previously announced prices for Premium Luxury, Premium Sport and the performance-focused V-Series are unchanged. Buyers choosing those versions should not assume the entry model’s reduction applies across the line-up.
