Fastned has raised €27 million in new investment through its final retail bond issue of 2026, giving the charging operator more funding for a construction programme that already includes 70 stations.

The round closed on 30 October and was announced on Tuesday. Investors in the Netherlands and Belgium supplied the new money, while a further €1.2 million came from holders extending earlier bonds. That extension is separate from the €27 million raised.

New investment across Fastned’s three retail bond rounds now totals €92 million for the year, compared with €79 million in 2025. The company says the proceeds will help it build stations faster.

Fastned reports 452 operating stations across nine European countries and 46 new stations built so far in 2026. Its 70 sites under construction are almost twice the number a year ago. They represent a pipeline of future charging stops, with openings still dependent on completing the individual projects; the funding announcement provides no site-by-site opening dates.
