Forum Mobility adds two megawatt truck chargers at Long Beach
The FM Harbor depot has added Tesla Semi-compatible equipment, with a customer truck charging at the November opening event.

Two new megawatt truck chargers have entered service at Forum Mobility’s FM Harbor depot in the Port of Long Beach, California. A customer’s production Tesla Semi took part in the inaugural charging sessions at a ribbon-cutting event on 5 November, the operator announced the following day.
The v4 Megawatt Charging Standard equipment adds a higher-power charging option at an established freight depot. Forum lists FM Harbor at 260 Pico Avenue, with an existing installation of 44 charging ports served by 360 kW fast chargers.
Forum says the new equipment is compatible with production Tesla Semis and can replenish up to 60% of their range in 30 minutes. That is the operator’s stated capability; it has not published a charging curve or the starting battery conditions alongside the announcement.
The company is also building another 30 MW of charging infrastructure across four California depots, in Rancho Dominguez, Ontario and two Oakland locations. Those projects remain under construction. At Long Beach, the immediate change is equipment serving customers’ trucks at an operating port depot, where charging can be planned around freight movements.
